Preppy and Sophisticated Wedding Inspiration at the Swan House in Atlanta
This wedding inspiration which was designed and coordinated by Amberly Odom this past spring, was recently featured on Southern Bride. The goal was to create lavish florals, groupings of color rather than a popcorn arrangement of blooms among a mess of foliage. Overall, the design gave a nod toward a classic wedding style while leaning more heavily towards intricate and less expected details for a modern and sophisticated twist. A preppy design can feel very match-y and simple. The Pattern play on these tables between the plates and tablecloths and the various shades of green took the design in a more interesting direction without causing visual chaos. Such details were also softened and unified with the florals that brought the pop of color and served as a visual anchor.
